Christof Luedi, Regional Vice President Accor Southern ແຄລິຟໍເນຍ, is pleased to announce the appointment of several key executives at Fairmont Century Plaza, the new $2.5 billion mixed-use redevelopment project in Century City, Los Angeles. Joining the hotel’s leadership team are Hotel Manager Antoine Winckler, Director of Catering & Conference Services Duane Mah, Director of Sales and Marketing Paul Sposare, Regional Director of Finance & Business Support Christine Mikkelsen, Regional Director of Human Resources Dana Sholl, Director of Rooms Juan Leonis, and Director of Residences Zuhair Ammar.

Winckler joins Fairmont Century Plaza with 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, including 16 years with Accor, Fairmont’s parent company. Most recently, Winckler served as Hotel Manager for Sofitel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills.
Mah brings with him 20 years of experience in hotel catering and convention services. Most recently, he was Executive Director of Catering at the Beverly Hilton, home of the Golden Globes. Prior to that, he served as Director of Events at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza, Hyatt Regency Newport Beach, Hyatt Regency Long Beach and Hyatt Regency Vancouver.
Sposare brings over 30 years of sales experience in the hospitality industry, having worked in New York, Napa Valley, Seattle, and San Francisco. Prior to joining the Fairmont Century Plaza, Sposare was the Director of Sales & Marketing at Montage Beverly Hills.
As Regional Director, Finance & Business Support, Mikkelsen will be responsible for overseeing all accounting and financial activities of the hotel including IT, purchasing, and cost control. In this regional role, Christine will be overseeing responsibilities for finance in all Southern California properties. Mikkelsen joins Fairmont Century Plaza with almost 16 years of experience, most recently at Fairmont San Francisco where she held the same role.

Juan Leonis brings 10 years of hospitality experience to Fairmont Century Plaza having previously worked with the brand’s properties in New York, Sonoma, San Diego and San Francisco in various roles. Most recently, he served as Director of Rooms at Fairmont San Francisco. In his current role, Leonis will oversee operations including housekeeping, front office, and Fairmont Gold, a hotel within a hotel concept offering unique hotel experiences for Fairmont Gold guests.
